We manufacture high quality Shortwave IR Lamps which consists of high grade coiled tungsten filament in a quartz tube wherein halogen gas and Argon exist. The diameter of the filament used for preparing these lamps is less than the diameter of the quartz tube due to which in order to position the filament at centre of the tube, support rings are used which prevents the filament from coming in direct contact with the tube. Further, the filament doesn’t sag due to its weight when lamps are vertically installed as tube is punctured.
The quartz tube in our short wave IR Lamps consists of a reflective coating of Zirconium on half the circumference of the tube for focusing the heat on the target object. We ensure that these coating doesn’t come off easily. The minimum life of our lamps is 5000 hours subject to the conditions that they are away from sever vibrations and mechanical shocks.
